On January 1st, 2023, Ohio residents will have two things to celebrate. Not only will they be ushering in the New Year, but they will be ushering in a new chapter in Ohio’s history: A Chapter dominated by sports betting.

The laws have already been laid out and decided, so come New Years Day 2023, Ohio residents will be able to place bets on their favorite professional and college teams. As things stand right now, 18 sportsbooks are projected to launch in Ohio on this exciting day. Those 18 are:

    • Bally Bet
    • Barstool Sportsbook
    • Bet365 Sportsbook
    • BetFanatics
    • Betfred Sportsbook
    • betJACk
    • BetMGM Sportsbook
    • BetPARX
    • BetRivers Sportsbook
    • Caesars Sportsbook
    • DraftKings Sportsbook
    • FanDuel Sportsbook
    • Fubo Sportsbook
    • Hard Rock Sportsbook
    • PointsBet
    • SuperBook Sportsbook
    • Tipico
    • Underdog Sports

If that sounds like a lot, don’t worry–because it is. But don’t get overwhelmed, you’ve come to the right place. Here is where you can go over every sportsbook that is available in Ohio upon launch, and you’ll have quick and easy access to each sportsbook's reviews, promo codes, and bonuses. You can see all Ohio sports betting promos on OddsSeeker.com

    So, let's get started!

    Bally Bet

Bally Bet Sportsbook is expected to launch on the opening day of Ohio sports betting, thanks to its licensing partnership with the Cleveland Browns. Bally Bet first launched as a brick-and-mortar sportsbook/casino in 2004, and since then they have grown to have 14 land-based resorts across 10 US states. If you want to read more about Bally Bet Sportsbook, you can check out our Bally Bet review here.

    Barstool Sportsbook

Ever since the sports media company “Barstool Sports” was bought by Penn National Gaming, they’ve had a real presence in the sports betting world–and that presence is sure to be felt in Ohio once things get going. There already is a brick-and-mortar location in Ohio (at the Hollywood Casino Columbus) so we expect the Barstool Sportsbook to launch on January 1st. If you want to read more about the Barstool Sportsbook, you can check out our Barstool Sportsbook Review here.

    Bet365 Sportsbook

Thanks to their licensing agreement with the Cleveland Guardians, Bet365 is expected to launch in Ohio once things get going. Bet365 is a UK-based gambling company that is widely known and popular amongst European countries, but as sports betting spreads through the US, bet365 is growing a name for itself in the states. You can read more about Bet365 here.

    Betfred Sportsbook

Betfred Sportsbook is only available in two states (Colorado and Iowa) but is expecting to launch in Ohio thanks to its partnership with the Cincinnati Bengals. Betfred is well known in the UK and Spain, and is trying to branch out and grow in the US market. If you want to read more about Betfred Sportsbook, you can do so here at the Betfred Sportsbook Review

    betJACK Sportsbook

If you haven’t heard of betJACK, don’t worry–it’s not the most popular casino brand in the world. However, thanks to their TWO casinos in Ohio, you could expect a betJACK branded sportsbook to launch once things become legal in Ohio. You can check out our betJACK Casino review here.

    BetMGM Sportsbook

Now THIS is a sportsbook you’ve heard of. BetMGM Sportsbook is one of the most popular sportsbooks in the world, so there should be no surprise they are coming to Ohio. There is the MGM Northfield Park Casino in Ohio already, so BetMGM already has a fanbase in the state. If you want to read more about BetMGM, you can do so here.

    BetRivers Sportsbook

BetRivers has a licensing partnership with the NFL Hall of Fame, which is obviously located in Canton, Ohio. I didn’t know the Hall of Fame NEEDED a sportsbooks sponsor, but if you want to read more about their new sponsor you can check out our BetRivers Sportsbook Review here.

    Caesars Sportsbook

Come on, you’ve heard of Caesars Sportsbook. They already have a partnership with Scioto Downs Racino, which is in Columbus, so like BetMGM they already have a deep fanbase in the state. If you want to read more about Caesars Sportsbook, you can check out our Caesars Review here.

    DraftKings Sportsbook

NOW we’re getting into the heavy hitters. DraftKings has had Daily Fantasy Sports available in Ohio for a while now, so there are already thousands of people with DraftKings accounts in the state. They’ll be able to seamlessly transition to the sportsbook once things launch in 2023, and if you want to read more about DraftKings Sportsbook you can do so here.

    FanDuel Sportsbook

FanDuel is also a huge Daily Fantasy Sports provider in Ohio, so they will probably see the first initial bump that DraftKings sees as well. FanDuel is one of the most popular sportsbooks and casinos in the country, so you can expect it to reflect those numbers in Ohio as well. If you want to read more about FanDuel Sportsbook, you can check out our Fanduel Review here.

    Fubo Sportsbook

Thanks to their partnership with the Cleveland Cavaliers, you can expect to find a Fubo Sportsbook in Ohio once things launch in early 2023. Ohio will become the third state in the country that allows Fubo Sportsbook, joining Arizona and Iowa. If you want to read more about Fubo Sportsbook, you can check out the Fubo review here.

    Hard Rock Sportsbook

There’s already a Hard Rock Casino in Cincinnati, so it would be super easy for Hard Rock to release an Online Casino app as well. If you want to read more about the Hard Rock Casino and Sportsbook, you can check out our Hard Rock Review here.

    PointsBet Sportsbook

PointsBet has a partnership with Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, so it’s likely there will be a PointsBet Sportsbook in Ohio. PointsBet is a bit of a new kid on the block, but they are already incredibly popular across the country. If you want to read more about PointsBet, you can check out our PointsBet Sportsbook Review here.
