2023 NBA Finals Odds: Boston Celtics Star Jayson Tatum Favored to Win MVP

Told ya the Boston Celtics were coming back from 3-2 down to win the Eastern Conference Finals.
And they did it in blowout fashion over their rival Sixers on Sunday.
What I didn’t see coming was the 51-point explosion – a new Game 7 playoffs record – by Jayson Tatum.
In Boston’s Game 6 victory in Philly, Tatum missed 14 of his first 15 shots, including his first six 3-point attempts.
However, there was a sign he was due for a huge Game 7: Tatum was clutch in the fourth quarter of Game 6, outscoring the Sixers by himself 16-13 during the final 12 minutes to carry the Celtics to a 95-86 win which forced Sunday’s showdown.
Tatum was silly good in Game 7 and NBA players were rightfully in awe of his performance.
Naturally, since Boston is the heavy favorite – Celtics:
+100, Nuggets: +230, Lakers: +330, Heat +1300 – to win the 2023 NBA championship, Tatum is the heavy favorite to win the NBA Finals MVP.
The odds I’m using, above and below, are courtesy of FanDuel, one of our favorite gambling sites out there along with BetMGM, DraftKings and many more.
2023 NBA Finals MVP
Jayson Tatum +140
Nikola Jokic +270
Jaylen Brown +750
LeBron James +850
Anthony Davis +850
Jimmy Butler +1300
Jamal Murray +3300
Bam Adebayo +11000
Malcolm Brogdon +12000
Derrick White +12000
Michael Porter Jr. +20000
Aaron Gordon +20000
D'Angelo Russell +50000
Austin Reaves +50000
Tatum’s odds are terrible and while I’d love to see a Nuggets-Celtics Finals matchup, I’ve become more and more convinced, since April 25, that it’s going to be a NBA ratings bonanza with another epic Lakers-Celtics battle for the title.
Which is why I’d do this instead of betting on Tatum or Nikola Jokic.
Wager a bit on each of these guys:
Jaylen Brown +750
LeBron James +850
Anthony Davis +850
Now those are solid odds and even if you feather your money on those three, instead of one, you’ll still come out ahead.
That’s my advice.
Do with it as you will.
