2023 NBA Finals Odds Favor Celtics vs. Warriors Rematch

The Warriors are back in play to win consecutive championships after crushing the Kings in Game 7 of their first-round series (Sunday, April 30).
To me, it was a bummer to watch Sacramento’s awesome season end with such a beatdown at home. Motivation for next season, I suppose.
Here’s what I wrote back on April 14:
No matter how this NBA season ends I guarantee you one thing: The Warriors will not win back-to-back titles.
Hmm. Could be eating my words but doubt it. I don’t think anyone’s beating the Celtics this season. Plus, after toppling the Kings, the Warriors have to take on The King and his Lakers.
Many think that series is going seven games – me too.
But, following the resurgent Warriors’ whooping of the Kings, bookmakers now favor a rematch of last year’s Finals: Warriors-Celtics, which Golden State won 4-2.
Oh, yeah, and that Steph Curry kid (he’s 35) still looks pretty good, huh? My lord – 50 points on the road in a playoff Game 7?!. Even for him, that was amazing.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, one of our favorite gambling sites out there, the Warriors are now the second betting favorite (+500) after the Celtics (+130) to win the championship and therefore are expected to meet again starting June 1st when the NBA Finals begin.

I was wrong about the Kings KO’ing the champs, but if the Lakers don’t the Nuggets will.
Still saying it’s going to be Boston vs. Denver for the title.
