Al Horford is currently playing in his 15th NBA season, and after watching his performance in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, you’d think he is a young spry rookie. In reality, Horford, 36, is seemingly on his last legs, and is doing everything he can to win a Championship before his gas tank hits empty. If you think Horford and the Celtics will be able to pull it off, you can bet on them through any of these New Jersey Online Casinos.

Horford was the third overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, and was selected by the Atlanta Hawks. He banged out 9 seasons with the hawks, becoming a four-time all-star who averaged 14.3 ppg and grabbed 8.9 rebounds per game in Atlanta. Then, he took his first stint in Boston, where he played for three years, grabbing another All-Star nod while he was at it. After a year in Philly in the 2019-20 season, Horford went to the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2020. He only played 28 games for the Thunder, however, and returned back to Boston in 2021.

Horford has played an instrumental part in this postseason run for the Celtics and was a huge factor in their Game 1 victory. His 26 points and 6 rebounds were a driving force in their win, and his six 3-pointers set a single-game career record for the soon-to-be hall of famer.

"Just grateful for this opportunity," Horford said. "Just grateful to be in this position. God has put me in this position, and it's something that I embrace and I'm excited about. Just excited to be able to share this stage with these group of guys. We have a lot of great guys here, guys that have really bought into what we're trying to do. It's just fun to see all that come together."
