Canelo Alvarez vs Gennadiy Golovkin 3 Announced For September 17th on DAZN
Dmitry Bivol thought he was playing party-pooper after his commanding victory over Canelo Alvarez on May 7th. In reality, Bivol was just setting the stage for Canelo’s comeback, as DAZN just announced that the trilogy fight between Canelo and GGG is still in the cards. Five middleweight titles will be on the line when these two fight, making it one of the biggest fights in boxing history.
Canelo is opening as a heavy favorite, sitting at -350 on various New Jersey Online Gambling sites. Canelo is coming off of an upset loss, just the second of his career, after failing to do much of anything against undefeated light heavyweight titleholder Dmitry Bivol.
This trilogy fight follows the two previous contests where the two fighters tied, and where Canelo narrowly edged out a victory via split decision. GGG has gone 4-0 since his loss to Canelo back in 2017. That loss stands to be the only blemish on GGG’s record.
A location has yet to be set for this fight, but regardless of where it takes place, there is no doubt it will be a sold-out show. There is also tons of time left until the fight takes place, so bettors will have time to lock in their picks. Maybe sure to sift through each of the Michigan Online Gambling sites to find the best odds.
