Cooper Kupp Signs A Record-Setting Contract With the LA Rams

Cooper Kupp had one of the best statistical seasons in NFL history last year, amassing 145 receptions for 1947 and 16 TDs. All his statistical accomplishments were topped off with a Super Bowl ring, where he had 8 catches for 92 yards and 2 touchdowns in Super Bowl LVI. The Rams have officially shown their appreciation for Kupp, signing the 28-year-old receiver to a three-year extension worth $80 million. $75 million of that is reported to be guaranteed, which is the highest amount of guaranteed money ever given to an NFL wide receiver. “God is good. On the mountains and in the valleys, He has been with us every step of the way,” Kupp’s Instagram post said in part. “While we have been afforded the privilege to play such an amazing game, it is with humility we know each moment here is intentional, albeit temporary.”
While Kupp will be recieving the most guaranteed money out of any other NFL Wide Reciever, he is not the highest paid wideout currently in the league. Earlier this offseason, Tyreek Hill signed a 4-year $120 million contract with the Miami Dolphins.
