Dave Roberts Doesn’t Know Anything about Baseball
“I just don’t see a division that’s better than us. You can talk about the AL East, but top to bottom, every night we’re playing within the division it’s A battle to win a baseball game.”
Dave Roberts believes the NL West is the best division in baseball. And I believe that Dave Roberts is the dumbest man in baseball. Fair? Fair.
The NL West is good, don’t get me wrong–but it’s incredibly top-heavy. The Dodgers, Padres, and Giants reside atop the NL West standings, but the Diamondbacks and Rockies are bringing up the rear, both with records below .500.
The AL East, on the other hand, has four of its five teams over .500, and the last-place Orioles are only 5 games under. Heck, you could even say the NL East is better than the NL West, thanks to the heavy load of the Mets, Braves and Phillies.
Only time will tell, but Dave Roberts is seeming like a real dummy right now.
