Christmas is coming early this year for UFC fans, as UFC 280 (October 22nd, 2022) is shaping up to be the best card of the year. The card is headlined by the Lightweight Championship fight between Charles Oliveira and Islam Makhachev, but the excitement doesn’t stop there. It’s rumored that T.J. Dillashaw and Aljamain Sterling will face off for the Bantamweight strap on that same card, and it was just announced that Sean O’Malley will be squaring off against former Bantamweight Champ Petr Yan. A welterweight bout between Belal Muhammad and Sean Brady is also confirmed for UFC 280.

The fight between Yan and O’Malley was just announced, and many are surprised at the big jump that O’Malley is taking in this October bout. The fight will be the first non-title fight for Yan since 2019, and he will surely be trying to get back on the winning side of things in this fight against O’Malley. O’Malley just fought against Pedro Munhoz at UFC 276, and the fight ended in a No Contents after O’Malley poked Munhoz in the eye. O’Malley looked sharp in the second round of that fight before the doctor called it off, but two of the three judges had him losing the first round.

While there are only four fights announced for the UFC 280 fight card this October 22nd in Abu Dhabi, it’s definitely a date that deserves to be circled on your calendar. You can be sure to bet on UFC 280 as well as any other UFC fight through any of these New Jersey Online Casinos.
