It Will Be A Long Season In Seattle, Seahawks Fans, So Take The Under

The Seattle Seahawks went 7-9 a season ago, the first time they’ve been below .500 since 2011.
And now the franchise is rebuilding, which means it’s about to get worse. Off goes Russell Wilson to Denver, and the Seahawks also said laters to All-Pro Bobby Wagner.
Doesn’t feel the same up in Seattle.
Some believe the Seahawks will go into full-on tank mode as they attempt to land a top pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, which is loaded with future stars.
But I’m not buying that it will be a complete no-show s**tshow in Seattle. Not with Pete Carroll at the helm. He just won’t allow it or do that.
But here’s the kicker: At BetMGM, you can pick the win total for the Seahawks this season and it’s not going to be over 5.5, which means six victories. So that headline is a tad misleading but does Seattle go OVER 4.5, which means FIVE wins? No, it does not. The Seahawks are winning exactly four games and you can get UNDER 4.5 at +190. A gift.
Take it.
The main problems for Seattle, of course, are the cost of living and traffic.
Oh, right. Football.
Quarterback. It will be a nightmare against some very solid defenses.
Do highly consider taking the under total on every game the Seahawks play.
Neither Geno Smith nor Drew Lock are the answer. I suspect Seattle will non-compete with Houston and Atlanta as the lowest-scoring team in the league this season.
Sigh. Maybe the weather will be mild and nice this winter in the great Northwest.
Here, by the way, are the four wins: vs. the Falcons, vs. the Giants, vs. the Panthers, and vs. the Jets. All home games, so at least that’s fun.
