Jiri Prochazka and Glover Teixeira Set To Face Off at UFC 274
The UFC returns with a stellar pay-per-view card this Saturday, June 11th, starting at 6:30 PM EST. UFC 275 is stacked with a ton of prospect fights, all culminating towards the final three fights on the card:
- Weili Zhang vs Joanna Jedrzeczyk
- Valentina Shevchenko vs Taila Santos
- Glover Teixeira vs Jiri Prochazka
You’ll be able to bet on any of these fights on any of these Pennslyvania Online Casinos.
While the entire card should be exciting, the Main Event is what everyone has their eyes on. Glover Teixeira, the current light heavyweight belt holder, will try to fend off one of the most exciting fighters on the roster, Jiri Prochazka. Teixeira’s last fight came in October 2021, when he finished Jan Blachowicz via submission and first grabbed the Light Heavyweight belt.
Jiri Prochazka, while only having fought twice in the UFC, quickly climbed the light heavyweight ranks. Prochazka last fought in May of 2021, finishing former title contender Dominick Reyes with a spinning elbow.
Teixeira, 42, will surely struggle on his feet in this fight. Prochazka is one of the most dynamic strikers in the UFC, and has knockout power coming from any angle. Teixeira, however, will surely have a large advantage if he could get this fight to the ground. Four of Teixeira’s last six wins came via submission, and one of Prochazka’s three ever MMA losses was via submission.
Jiri Prochazka is currently the slight favorite to win the fight, sitting at -200. Teixeira, who is at +170, has the most value if you bet on him to win via submission, which is currently at +350. Prochazka to win by TKO/KO is not even at even money, currently sitting at -135.
