Mega Millions Jackpot Now Up To $420 Million: Texas Resident Wins $1 Million
Well, another week flies by and no one takes home the jackpot. Lottery players will have another chance to take home the dough this Friday, January 28th, when the drawing for the estimated $421 million jackpot takes place at 11 PM EST.
This is a $25 million jump from last week's jackpot, which was a MEASLY $396 million. Last week’s numbers were:

Although no one took home the jackpot after last nights drawing, one ticket sold in Texas that matched all five white balls, resulting in a $1 million dollar win. This is the second week in a row that a lottery player has become a millionaire, seeing as how just last week a Georgia resident accomplished the same feat.
According to the Mega Millions website, you have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance to get all five balls right. That sounds insane, but compared to the 1 in 302, 575,350 chance to get all SIX right–those first odds aren’t sounding too bad.
