MLB 2023: 14 Ballparks Where You Can Live Bet on Sports

Any die-hard MLB fan/baseball bettor’s dreams began coming true on Jan. 31, 2022, when the Washington Nationals tweeted this: “BetMGM and the Washington Nationals announced today the opening of the first retail sportsbook connected to a Major League Baseball stadium.”
Holy moly. Cool. Hallelujah! were among the many reactions.
The opening of the William Hill Sportsbook at Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. (home to the Wizards and Capitals) in 2021 was the first sportsbook to operate inside of an arena in the U.S., but today we’re looking at MLB.
Here are the MLB 14 teams whose home states allow mobile sports betting inside the ballpark or feature on-site/connected sportsbooks as of June 1.
Arizona Diamondbacks: Caesars Sportsbook at Chase Field
Baltimore Orioles: SuperBook Sports Lounge at Camden Yards
Boston Red Sox: Mobile Betting at Fenway Park
Chicago Cubs: DraftKings Sportsbook at Wrigley Field (Mid-July)
Chicago White Sox: Mobile Betting at Guaranteed Rate Field
Cincinnati Reds: BetMGM Sportsbook at Great American Ballpark
Cleveland Guardians: Mobile Betting at Progressive Field
Colorado Rockies: Mobile Betting at Coors Field
Detroit Tigers: Mobile Betting at Comerica Park
New York Mets: Caesars Sportsbook at Citi Field

New York Yankees: Mobile Betting at Yankee Stadium
Philadelphia Phillies: Mobile Betting at Citizens Bank Park
Pittsburgh Pirates: Mobile Betting at PNC Ballpark
Toronto Blue Jays: Mobile Betting at Rogers Centre
No more states are expected to add online sports betting this year, although the dominoes are clearly falling fast now. Legislation to allow sports gambling is at various stages of progress in Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Texas, and Georgia.
Considering those states, I’m willing to wager all five of ‘em make it legal before the Opening Day in 2024, which means that fans at home games of the Atlanta Braves (Truist Park), Houston Astros (Minute Maid Park), Globe Life Field (Texas Rangers), Kauffman Stadium (Kansas City Royals), and Busch Stadium (St. Louis Cardinals).
There are gobs of revenue available now, so bank on that, guys and gals.
