Tonight at 8:15 EST, the New York Giants (2-5) are set to face off against the Kansas City Chiefs (3-4) at the team’s home Arrowhead Stadium. As we kick off Week 8, both teams are approaching an embattled midseason. Kansas City has struggled against it's AFC East rivals, though managed to pull off some impressive recent triumphs against the Philadelphia Eagles & Washington Football Team.

Likewise, New York is in the hot seat as they look for a second wind in the second half of the season. The Giants only have so much time left to turn the tide before their playoff dreams are dashed for another year, though they are off the heels of their own second-season win against the Carolina Panthers.

It looks like both teams are in for a drag-out, uphill battle, but doubly so for New York as they face off against titans the likes of Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes in their bid to stay afloat. If you’re interested in watching the action, and potentially getting in on the action, then you should probably take a look at what our friends from DraftKings Sportsbook have to say about what’s in store.

DraftKings Monday Night Football Picks & Player Parlays

Right now, the betting splits are pretty unanimously favoring Kansas City; the team has a double-digit -10.5 lead on the spread, is under 52.5 points on the point total, and has a strong, strong, STRONG -510 lead on the moneyline, contrasted with the +375 underdog posting on New York.

The handle money is disproportionately riding on the Chiefs – as of last week, the point spread handle had 78% of the money on Kansas City, and 90% of the moneyline bets and betting handle were on Kansas City. Even so, there’s still some promising player parlays open for both quarterbacks, with an obvious slant in favor of Patrick Mahomes. Here are the two longest and shortest player parlays currently available:

  1. Patrick Mahomes runs 400+ pass yards and +3 pass TDs (+1000)
  2. Patrick Mahomes runs 400+ pass yards and Daniel Jones runs 350+ pass yards (+2800)

If you’d prefer shorter odds than that, then you may want to consider DraftKings' “Fresh From The Field” weekly special, a +450 quarterback player parlay. If Daniel Jones and Patrick Mahomes combine for over 459.5 passing yards with 0 interceptions tonight, you could win big! You’ll also be able to bet on all sorts of different game props, including:

  • Total touchdowns
  • First/last team to score
  • First field goal
  • Race to score X points
  • Total conversions
  • Overall winning margins
