Monday Night Football Picks and Predictions: New York Giants @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers--New Jersey Sports Betting
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Giants will finish off Week 11 with a Monday night showdown under the bright lights in Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers are coming off of their worst performance of the season, losing 29-19 to the Washington Football Team thanks to a 2-interception performance from Tom Brady. On the other hand, The Giants are coming off of a fairly comfortable win over the Raiders despite a lackluster outing from Quarterback Daniel Jones. Right now you can find spreads as big as 11 points in favor of the Buccaneers, and the over/under sits around 49.5.
All signs point towards the Buccaneers this game--they have a strong edge on both sides of the ball and remain one of the best teams in the NFL. However, they also find themselves amidst a two-game losing streak, where Tom Brady has thrown 2 interceptions in each of those games. Tom Brady also remains winless against the spread in his last 11 primetime games, while the Buccaneers are 3-6 ATS this season.
The Giants have seen more success as of recent, holding a record of 2-1 in their last three. They’ve also covered each of their last three games, bringing them to a total record of 5-3 ATS.
I expect this game to be a lot closer than Vegas predicts, so I’ll comfortably take the Giants and the 11 points (-110) offered by many sportsbooks. When looking at the total, I love the under this week. Both teams have been playing very strong defense lately, and with the total sitting at 49.5 I feel comfortable that it won’t even get close. With that in mind, I’ll be taking the Giants team total under 17.5 (-110) and the Buccaneers team total under 24.5 (+210).
One player prop that I absolutely love this week is Daniel Jones rushing for over 22.5 yards. Jones is good for at least 4 rushing attempts per game, and if the Buccaneers’ secondary continues to play strong then Jones may be left to scramble a bit. All in all, here’s what my slate will look like Monday night:
