I know, it’s tough to believe that 2021 is about to come to an end. We’ve already seen over two decades of NFL Football so far this century, and it’s all gone in the blink of an eye. With all the teams and players that come and go over the years, it may be hard to remember which teams were great–and which ones weren’t. That’s why I’m going to be breaking down the best and worst individual teams in the NFL since the year 2000, looking at season records, records against the spread, and of course who ultimately lifted the Lombardi Trophy.

Let’s get started.

(Please Note: The year stated refers to the year that a majority of the games were played in–I.E. the 2021 Super Bowl (Super Bowl LV) goes under the year 2020.)

2020 Season

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to repeat their Super Bowl success in this 2021 season, and are currently the odds-on favorite to do so according to most sports betting apps.
