Trade Deadline Trades:

Vikings Receive TJ Hockenson Form Lions For Draft Picks

The Vikings lost starting tight end Irv Smith Jr to a high-ankle sprain on Sunday, and they’re quickly turning a new leaf here with the addition of TJ Hockenson. Signed through 2023 thanks to a fifth-year option that’ll pay him $9.4 million next year, Hockenson was traded to the Vikings along with a 2023 fourth-round pick and a 2024 conditional in exchange for a 2023 second-rounder, and a 2024 third-rounder.

Bears Acquire Chase Claypool From Steelers For Second-Round Pick

Justin Fields has had two good games and all of a sudden the Bears are backing their new stud. Thanks to Claypool, Fields now has a solid receiver to trust for the first time in his NFL career. In return, the Steelers got a second-round pick from the Bears, which Chicago just obtained from the Ravens for Roquan Smith.

The Dolphins Get Bradley Chubb From The Broncos For Edmonds and Picks

The Dolphins are pushing all their chips to the center here, acquiring all-pro edge rusher Bradley Chubb from the Broncos for RB Chase Edmonds, a 2023 first-rounder and a 2024 fourth-rounder. The Broncos sent their 2025 fifth-rounder as a part of the deal.

The Dolphins Are Back, Acquire Jeff Wilson Jr From Niners For Picks

The Dolphins took the trade deadline head-on this year, bolstering both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. They acquired Jeff Wilson Jr from the Niners for a 2023 fifth-round pick.

The Falcons Send Suspended Wide Reciever Calvin Ridley To The Jaguars

The Jaguars are playing the long con here, acquiring Ridley from the Jaguars in quite a complicated trade. According to media reports, if Ridley is reinstated from suspension by a certain date, Atlanta will receive a 2023 fifth-round pick. If he is reinstated after that date (which is unknown) it’s a sixth-round pick. Then, if Ridley makes the 2024 roster, the Falcons will receive a fourth round-pick. If he hits certain statistical milestones, it’s a third-round pick. If the Jaguars end up signing a long-term deal with him, it’s a second-round pick.

WOW that was a mouthful. ‘

Buffalo Bills Acquire Nyheim Hines From Colts

The Bills are making their Super Bowl case even stronger here at the trade deadline, acquiring pass-catching RB Nyheim Hines from the Colts for Zack Moss and a conditional 2023 sixth-round pick.
