PointsBet Sportsbook Partners With NBC Sports Affiliates In First Dual-Market Sports Betting Telecast
NBC Sports Chicago and NBC Sports Philadelphia will be partnering with PointsBet this Monday, March 7th, in order to deliver sports bettors with a brand new way to enjoy the game they love–Basketball. The partnership between the two created a brand new live broadcast alternative called BetCast , which will cover the Chicago Bulls at the Philadelphia 76ers NBA matchup on Monday.
The BetCast will be presented on NBC Sports Chicago Plus and NBC Sports Philadelphia Plus.
The BetCast will deliver live, on-screen odds for Monday night’s game–with data provided all by PointsBet sportsbook. This will include the spread, any current player props, the total, and any move in the Money Line.
The Sports Betting theme will even leak over into the commentary booth. NBC Sports EDGE host Sara Perlman will be joined by NBC Philadelphia’s 76ers analyst Jim Lynam, NBC Sports Chicago’s Bulls analyst Kendall Gill, and Jay Croucher, who is the head oddsmaker at PointsBet.
The commentary will of course be centered on the game, but with a bit of a sports betting twist.
NBC Sports Chicago has produced on BetCast stream before, in an April game against the Hornets. What makes this broadcast different is the dual-market nature of it, incorporating both Chicago and Philadelphia NBC personalities in the same broadcast.
NBC Philadelphia is no stranger to the BetCast way of doing things either, as they had provided BetCast presentations of select Sixers games since April 2019.
