Super Bowl 2023 Odds: Don’t Make a Giants Mistake

Hey, look, the G-Men had a solid game against the overrated Vikings, but New Yorkers, you need to cool your enthusiasm about a possible Super Bowl run.
The Giants aren’t getting out of Philadelphia with a victory. They’re not.
Here’s why: A well-rested Eagles squad is going to have more energy and they simply have more talent.
There are reasons why the spread, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook, among our favorite sports wagering sites, has the Eagles favored by 7.5. I expect that spread to drop to 6.5 and that’s when you jump on it.
The perception that the Giants are on a magical ride is a mirage. The Eagles, by every stat/metric, are better in every way. I’m not buying the Giants beyond this past weekend.
Solid win. Daniel Jones may be the guy at QB. But the Giants' Super Bowl dreams are not coming true this year.
They’ll lose to the Eagles by at least seven. Philly is third in points scored per game (the Giants? 15th) and is seventh in points allowed per game (to New York at 17th).
But here are the three stats that I love the most: The Eagles are fourth in the NFL in third-down efficiency, fourth with total interceptions (17) and first with sacks.
Those defensive stats spell trouble for Jones and the Giants.
Don’t buy into this New York fairytale myth.
Fly high with the Eagles giving up just 6.5.
Wait for it.
