The New NJ Tipico Casino: What You Should Know
If the state of New Jersey could be summed up in any three words, those words would be gardens, Gandolfini, and gambling. It’s not much of a surprise that the home and birthplace of Atlantic City likes a good wager – even so, how much New Jersey likes it may surprise you.
Statista found that the NJ online casino industry accounted for $91 million in revenue as of this past February, and a Rutgers University report from a few years ago found that a staggering 70% of New Jersey residents reported gambling over that past year. Bottom line, if you’re familiar with most of the industry’s best online sportsbooks and online casinos, New Jersey likely has them, and likely has a sizable demand for them. One fairly new player looking to take advantage of this burgeoning demand is Tipico.
Tipico launched their online sportsbook in the Garden State this past year, and although NJ voters recently turned down a ballot measure that would expand the local sports betting market to college athletics, Tipico recently expanded their own local product by launching an online casino in Jersey. Here’s what you should know about the product, as well as its launch.
Tipico Online Casino NJ: What To Know
As we’ve alluded to previously, this new online casino marks the second proprietary product launch by Tipico in New Jersey. Like Tipico Sportsbook, the platform is highly intuitive, highly accessible, and highly user friendly. Users can access the Tipico Casino platform through most major web browsers via their computer, or through a dedicated mobile app accessible on most iOS and Android devices.
Adrian Vella, the CEO of Tipico’s American division, is optimistic that this launch will help further grow the already massive growth that the company has undergone. “With a growing number of US states open or regulating legal online casino activity – driving an average of $100m in gross gaming revenue each month per state – this addition to our suite of products will be a key driver of growth for Tipico in North America in 2022.”
The online casino is set to roll out hundreds of popular gaming options and titles, from multiple renowned, reputable industry developers like Scientific Games, Gaming Realms, Inspired Gaming, NetEnt, High5, and Everi. Expect some familiar favorite casino offerings, games like slots, roulette, craps, live dealer games, video poker, and other card games.
This launch comes off the heels of a partnership with Ocean Casino Resort to license their product in New Jersey, and Tipico hopes to expand its online casino operations to other states over the next year.
