Bo Nickal has only had two professional MMA fights, and he’s already being touted as one of the biggest prospects in MMA history. Nickal, who is a three-time NCAA Division 1 wrestling champ from Penn State, just received his second ever professional MMA win yesterday during his bout on the Dana White Contender Series. He won the fight against Zachary Borrego via submission, sinking in a rear-naked choke in just 1 minute and 2 seconds. This win comes just two months after his first ever professional MMA fight and win, when he knocked out John Nolan at iKON FC 3 in just 33 seconds.

Once Nickal burst onto the scene, he immediately drew some attention. And now that he seems to be delivering on his hype? Even more heads are turning his way.

However, one man seems lest enthusiastic about his success than anyone else–and that one man is the only man who matters: Dana White.

Despite his submission victory on August 9ths DWCS card, Nickal did not receive a UFC contract offer. Instead, the MMA wunderkind is being asked to fight one more time on the Contender Series before any kind of contract is written up.

“He’s 1-0, 2-0 now, fought a kid that was 3-0, made it look really easy,” White told reporters including MMA Junkie at the post-fight news conference. “Let’s get him one more fight and let’s test him. (If he) Gets past that with flying colors, we bring him in and we give him a fight in the UFC.

I think only one guy has come in at like 1-0 and did anything and I think it was Brock (Lesnar), and to be honest with you, I don’t remember. Brock was something like that. So, yeah, he’s a stud.”

It’s unclear as to when Nickals next fight will be, but it figures to be in the next couple of months. The best thing for young fighters to do is stay active, and strike while the iron is hot.

There’s no doubt that Nickal will be a heavy favorite in his next fight–some sportsbooks had him as high as -6000 (yes you read that correctly) for his fight on Tuesday night. However, if you want to bet on him, you can be sure to do so through any of these New Jersey Online Casinos.
