It was big news when Tom Brady announced his retirement, and now it is bigger news that he has made his return.

This dramatic plot twist had us imagining over the past 40 days, about what the NFL would be like without the greatest quarterback of all time. This news comes out of the woodworks just 6 weeks after hinting at new adjustments to his life being the priority, especially where his family is concerned.

The football icon has had an illustrious career spanning over 22 years, recording the highest stats notably in 624 touchdown passes and 84,250 passing yards. Not only have the numbers on the board soared, but the online sportsbooks indicate a tumultuous reaction too upon Brady's reappearance.

Super Bowl 57 For The Bucs Has Got A Nice Ring To It

Don't call it a comeback. The seven-time Super Bowl winner returns to Tampa Bay to play his 23rd NFL season with a vengeance and a winning mentality restored in him as you could imagine, as he faces an uphill challenge against all odds stacked against him on the road to regaining the title.

His statement was clear on his verified Twitter account, citing the quote "These past two months I've realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it's not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I'm coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG".

The job is far from done by the sounds of it. TB12 returns to a properly constructed roster after a majority of the Bucs team were either plagued by injuries or listed as free agents. However, they are fast becoming the biggest threat to the Rams in the NFC.

Loaded in every position to boost odds, their projected future performance is currently on a middle ground. In all likelihood, his experience, in addition to last season's 43 touchdowns and 5300 yards, including the divisional playoff appearance, compelled such a drastic decision towards chasing his hopes for the glory once more.

TB Return Has Boosted The Odds, Favouring The Bucs

Aside from the history in the making, we are also witnessing a contender build-up, and it is no major surprise that Tom Brady's comeback has rattled the odds movement. It is accurate to affirm that the Bucs future odds are highly favored to clinch Super Bowl 57.

In that case, NFL Betting comes to the forefront in this light. Particularly, the Bucs shot up to +750 on BetMGM to win Brady's eighth ring, and according to the oddsmakers at Caesars Sportsbook, odds for Brady to win the 2022-23 MVP award are at +4500.

Touchdowns See No End For Tom Brady

There you have it, daddy isn't coming home anytime time soon. Tom Brady, 44, has left us with the consensus of his commitment to the game and still has a lot to offer. As he would say, his favorite ring is his next one.

We see everything now with crystal clarity that the itch was still there to scratch. Furthermore, statements on Brady by Bucs general manager Jason Licht eventually surfaced stating – " We are thrilled that Tom has decided to come back this season. We said we would leave all options open for him should he reconsider his retirement and today's announcement is something we have been preparing for in recent days. Bruce Arians and I have had plenty of conversations with Tom recently that led us to believe there was a realistic chance he would want to come back."
