Two Winners Claim $1.34 Billion Mega Millions Jackpot

It’s been almost two months since the $1.34 billion Mega Millions Jackpot was won, and we finally have found our lucky winners. Two people, who bought one ticket and decided to split the winnings if they won, have come forward to claim the prize, according to the Illinois lottery. This was the third-largest jackpot in US history.

The two winners, who have spent the last eight weeks working with legal teams, have decided to take the lump sum, which turned out to be $780.5 million.

"I've been working for the Illinois Lottery for over five years and this is by far the largest prize I've ever had to process. When we met with the winners' lawyers there was a real buzz of excitement in the room," said Illinois Lottery Claims Manager Luis Rodriguez.

Even though the big jackpot is gone, you can still win a ton of money by playing the lottery! There’s no better place to play the lottery than Jackpocket, and you can find Jackpocket free tickets here.
