Ojibwa Casino History
The Keweenaw Bay Indian Community has been involved in the Michigan casino and gaming industry since the 1980s. They opened their first casino in Baraga in 1985.
The Keweenaw Bay Indian Community then came together to open the Ojibwa Casino Resort Baraga in 1994. After the Baraga location showed success for around a decade, the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community then opened a second casino, the Ojibwa Casino Marquette.
