My Objectives for This Review

My Experience9/10

World Series of Poker Online is an online poker platform that operates daily games, live games, and poker tournaments in five states.

Is WSOP Legal?

Yes! WSOP is legal in several states (though online poker is legal in more states).

Online gambling laws have been actively changing throughout the U.S. Over the past year or so, several states have legalized forms of online gambling, including online poker, slots, table games, sports betting, and more.

Currently, online poker is legal in Delaware, Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Michigan. Furthermore, if you just want to casually play video poker, you can play at any online casino site.

Check out the newest online casino sites in each of the legal states here:

Who can play at WSOP?

WSOP accepts bets from players in five U.S. states (though online poker is legal in several more, this platform doesn’t have the rights to market to players in all states that have legalized online poker just yet).

Now that WSOP has created a partnership with Caesars Entertainment, you may see this online poker platform available to gamblers in all states where you’d find Caesar’s land-based casino.

Currently, WSOP accepts bets from players located in:

You must be physically located within one of the above states (and of legal gambling age) to legally place bets at WSOP.

To prove your physical locations, you must download geo-tracking software onto the device on which you’ll be placing bets. This software must be enabled before placing a bet. If you leave a state where WSOP accepts online bets, you must return to the state before you may legally place bets again.

WSOP Review

We happen to love WSOP. And while it’s not the largest poker platform online, it does offer plenty of reasons to place bets in its many online poker rooms.

WSOP Bonuses and Promos

Like most online casinos, WSOP Online offers generous welcome bonuses to new players and players making their first deposit.

That doesn’t mean that you can’t take advantage of awesome bonuses later, though! WSOP offers generous bonuses to loyal customers that place frequent bets.

WSOP Welcome Bonuses

Make a first deposit of at least $10 (and up to $1,000), and you’ll get a 100% deposit match deposited into your account. You’ll want to maximize your first deposit as this welcome bonus is only valid for your first deposit. (Though, you don’t want to deposit or bet more than you can — always bet responsibly and check out the ways WSOP helps players manage betting caps below).

You’ll also receive tickets for WSOP Gold Bracelet freerolls and a $5 entry into the Blast Poker tournament!

Ongoing WSOP Promos

Many online poker rooms also offer ongoing promos for loyal players — and to keep loyal bettors excited about playing poker!

WSOP is no different. This online poker platform currently offers a generous VIP loyalty rewards program.

VIP Loyalty Rewards Program

When you sign up for an account at WSOP, you instantly also signed up for the platform’s loyalty club.

Earn points for each game you play. Once you reach 200 points, you’ll get bronze status and may begin cashing in your points for free bets. Once you reach different tiers, such as silver, elite, and champions, you’ll get even more points to turn into free bets.

Maintain your status each month to keep earning points and cashing in on free bets.

WSOP Playthrough Requirements

Before you may withdraw money won with bonus funds, you may need to satisfy a few playthrough requirements.

You may need to play $50 of your own money in tournament fees before you may use your bonus money to place bets. Bonus money is then released in $10 increments each time you pay more money in tournament fees.

Be sure to read the terms and conditions of all bonus money before making a deposit into your account, placing bets, or withdrawing funds.

WSOP Account Setup

You’ll need to set up an account with WSOP before you may deposit money and start playing — especially if you want to play real money games.

Setting up an account is easy. Simply follow the instructions and type your name, address, birth date, and social security number (if asked) into the appropriate fields. If you have a bonus code, you’ll want to copy and paste that when prompted, too.

Be sure to accept all the terms and conditions.

WSOP Poker Software

You’ll also need to download the platforms poker software if you want to play on your laptop, desktop, or smart device.

WSOP’s software is compatible with Macs, PCs, iOS, and Android operating systems. Simply head to the website to download software for a laptop or desktop, and head to the app store for smart devices.

WSOP Poker Games

  • Texas hold'em
  • No-limit hold'em
  • Omaha and stud cash
  • Online tournaments

Since this is the World Series of Poker we’re talking about here, it’s no surprise that the platform runs several online tournaments.

Currently, tournaments are offered Sunday with a minimum of a $100,000 prize pot, and smaller tournaments run throughout the week.

There are also tournaments run in conjunction with the World Series of Poker with pots that range from $500,000 to $1 million.

WSOP Deposits and Withdrawals

Making online deposits at WSOP is easy! All you need to do is choose one of the following methods, make your deposit, and start playing poker!

  • ACH Transfer: minimum $10 minimum/$5,000 maximum per deposit
  • VISA and MasterCard: $10 minimum/$600 maximum per deposit
  • PayPal: $10 minimum/$5,000 maximum per deposit
  • PayNearMe: $10 minimum/$500 maximum per deposit
  • Casino Cage

If you want to head straight to a local casino cage to deposit cash, you may do so at one of the following land-based casinos:

  • Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
  • Harrah’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
  • Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
  • Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas Resort & Casino
  • Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas

Personal Deposit Limits

Worried you won’t bet responsibly or will end up betting too much?

WSOP encourages responsible betting by allowing players to set limits on how much they may bet each day — or for how long they may play.

To set this limit, simply request the self-exclusion online or contact WSOP’s customer service via email or phone.
