Introduction
While this daily fantasy sports site offers everything you love about DFS, it really doesn’t feel like you’re pigeonholed into fantasy sports.
We love that you’re making parlay-style bets by choosing up to five players and betting on their points scored, yards run, or assists made.
PrizePicks removes the confusion from daily fantasy sports.
Overall, PrizePicks reviews are positive, and we love that you play against the house instead of against other players. Of course, we also appreciate that PrizePicks is legal in many states where sports betting is otherwise not legal.
Should You Bet at Prize Picks Sportsbook?
I loved the design and flow at Prize Picks Sportsbook. Whether you're playing on a computer or mobile device, the design is appealing and logically laid out with plenty of access to guides if you need help.
That said, I signed up and am in a legal area, but my account registration was denied. I have no idea why as sports betting is legal in Vermont, and Vermont is on the sportsbook's list of approved states. There's no recourse either from what I can see. You receive a message stating:
"We appreciate your interest in PrizePicks. Unfortunately, your account application has been declined. There are a variety of factors that go into our application process. To protect the integrity of our application process, we cannot divulge any additional information."
As much as I'd like to say everyone should play here, there is the chance your registration will be rejected. Be prepared for that. If you do get in, from everything I can see, this is a unique, enjoyable fantasy sportsbook that's certainly filling a desirable niche.
The betting structure for the upcoming Super Bowl was simple and would have been fun to try out with the PrizePicks no-deposit bonus.
How To Join Prize Picks Sportsbook
-
Joining Prize Picks is easy.
-
Enter your email
-
Choose a secure password
-
Enter your date of birth
-
Type out your legal address
-
Agree to the terms and conditions and privacy policy
Submit that and see what happens. If you make it through, you need to confirm your email address by clicking the link on the email you receive. You have to also verify your legal name, date of birth, and address.
You'll do this by uploading a photo of a government-issued photo ID like a driver's license or passport. If you're successful, you'll receive a message that your account is verified. If you're denied, like me, the sportsbook makes it clear that they will not share what led to the denial.
Prize Picks Sportsbook Hands-on Review
Prize Picks Sportsbook is an award-winning sportsbook with some impressive partnerships with Meek Mills, the North Carolina Courage, and the Atlanta Braves. Inc. 5000 named it the "Fastest Growing Sports Company" in both 2022 and 2023. It's available in all but 17 states and most of Canada, excluding the province of Ontario.
I downloaded the app and loaded up the online sportsbook to see what I'd experience as I signed up and checked out the betting options, banking area, promotions, and rules.
Find out what happened as I explored Prize Picks for the first time.
My Prize Picks Sportsbook App Experience
Prize Picks Sportsbook is available for both iOS and Android. I installed the Android app from Google Play, which took seconds and loaded the app straight away. There was no lag, crashing, or screen freezes. At this point, I started the registration process.
It's very straightforward and took little time, though my registration was rejected for an unknown reason. Why, I'm not sure, but the sportsbook does make it clear through its policy that:
"If you are denied, you will unfortunately not be able to play on PrizePicks. PrizePicks reserves the right to deny verification to anyone at its sole discretion. For security reasons, we will not be able to provide specific information to individuals regarding why they were denied."
Even with a denied registration, the app still allows me to sign in and look around. I like how it's set up. Menu options are on the top left and right, with a variety of sports and betting options below that. Promos and quick access to the refer-a-friend and QR codes are below that.
Everything runs fluidly with no glitches or difficulty returning to the home screen. I love the daily fantasy site for it's ease of use and speed of loading the different pages. Prize Picks hits a home run for their app design.
Is Prize Picks Sportsbook Legit?
Yes. Prize Picks is authorized in 33 states and Washington, D.C. Most players must be 19, but anyone playing in Arizona or Massachusetts must be 21 or older.
As 18 is the legal age for gambling in many states, players who are 18 are eligible to register, but they'll be ineligible for winning prizes.
Can You Win Real Money Playing at Prize Picks Sportsbook?
Yes. Winning bets pay up to 100 times your wager, depending on the odds of the bet you place.
Players who are 18 cannot win real money until they turn 19 or 21, depending on their location.
Prize Picks Sportsbook Signup Bonus
As soon as you join and confirm your email, the range of promotions appears. Previously, you would have received a no-deposit bonus, but that offer has been temporarily suspended.
Instead, you'll get up to $100 in the form of a first deposit match.

To claim the $100 first deposit match, you just need to click our link to access the PrizePicks and complete the registration process. When you make your deposit, use bonus code PLAYBOOK to get up to $100 with the signup bonus.
