What Makes Sweeptastic Different From Other Sweepstakes Casinos?

Sweeptastic stands out from the competition by its:

I awarded Sweeptastic an 8.9 for its Comparison rating because it has the third-largest selection of games at any sweepstakes casino, it offers table games and video poker, and it posts the RTPs of most of its games.

Sweeptastic Hands-On Review

Playing on Desktop

To see how long it took games to load, I launched 10 games for this review – just to see how long I could expect to wait.

Half the games I launched loaded in under 7 seconds and the other half took about 12 to 14 seconds to load. Load times really seem to depend on the game’s designer, with Pragmatic Play games launching very quickly and BGaming and GameArt titles taking about twice as long to load.

Sweeptastic’s navigation and site layout are both very intuitive. I could search games by title or sort them by category, feature, studio, and previously-played.

The biggest downfall to Sweeptastic’s site is that it’s not always clear which mode I’m currently playing games in.

Most sweepstakes casinos color code their toggle buttons (i.e., green for Promotional Mode and a secondary color for Standard Mode), yet Sweeptastic doesn’t offer such a feature.

Luckily, I could still toggle between modes after the game had launched.

Overall, Sweeptastic offers a solid user experience. The site’s graphics are pleasant so they’re not competing for my attention with the actual games, and it’s pretty easy to find titles.

For all these reasons, I awarded Sweeptastic a 9.2 for its User Experience rating.

Playing on Mobile

There’s no Sweeptastic mobile app, but I was able to play games using the browser on my tablet or smartphone.

I found the site’s navigation to work best on a tablet, as the graphics were much larger. I also discovered I needed to use landscape mode if I wanted to see the Lucky Coins/Sweeps Coins toggle on the home screen.

Yet, once the game launched, the toggle was visible in either portrait or landscape modes.

My gameplay experience was just as good on my mobile devices as on my laptop. I also could make purchases, redeem Sweeps Coins, and claim bonuses the same as I would on the full website.

I needed to get a hold of Sweeptastic’s customer service team once, and I received a detailed email response about five hours later.

This is a pretty quick response time. At other sweepstakes casinos, I’ve found response times could take up to several business days.

Joining Sweeptastic Casino was pretty easy, and I was able to sign up for an account in only a few minutes.

If you want to create a new player account and complete qualifying actions to collect the no-deposit bonus, here are the steps you’ll need to take:

Promotions for Existing Players

Sweeptastic doesn’t offer very many promotions for existing players – only a login bonus of 1,500 LC and a loyalty program.

Daily Login Bonus

To claim this bonus, simply log into your account each day. You don’t need to manually claim the bonus, as it will be automatically added to your account upon login.

Loyalty Program

Sweeptastic’s loyalty program works very differently from the loyalty and VIP programs at other sweepstakes casinos.

The program features 22 tiers, each offering a different “challenge”. Earn points by completing the tasks at each level.

 Here are some examples of challenges you’ll need to complete to level up to the next tier:

• Spin the Reels on Any Game: Earn 1 point for each spin

• Make a Purchase: Earn 100 points for each purchase

• Play Select Games: Earn 1 point for every spin

Another downfall of the program was that the challenge at Level 14 was to play roulette games.

Yet at the time of writing this review, I couldn’t find a single roulette game available on Sweeptastic’s site.

Banking Methods Breakdown

There aren’t many Sweepstastic purchase and redemption options available.

There are three ways to make purchases at Sweeptastic, including debit and credit cards, as well as bank transfers; I was able to redeem Sweepstakes Coins by either debit card or bank transfer.

Most sweepstakes casinos offer at least one e-wallet for payments or redemptions, and many offer Apple Pay or Google Pay.

At one point, Sweeptastic had offered cryptocurrency payments and redemptions, but those options seem to have quietly disappeared from the site.

I originally awarded Sweeptastic an 8 Cashier rating because it doesn’t offer very many options for purchases or redemptions and because 36 games don’t contribute toward the playthrough requirements on Free Sweeps Coins – but I bumped it up to an 8.2 because redemptions are processed relatively quickly, within three business days.

Purchases

There’s never a need to pay to play at Sweeptastic, but I wanted to snag that first-purchase bonus – so I went ahead and bought 40,000 LC for $19.99.

Sweeptastic accepts credit cards and bank transfers. Since it accepts AMEX and Discover, two credit cards that many sweepstakes casinos don’t take, I bumped up its Cashier score slightly.

Making a purchase was easy. All I had to do was click “Get Coins” in the main menu and choose how many Lucky Coins I wanted to buy. I then added my payment details, and my 40,000 LC and the bonus of 40 Free SC were available for immediate gameplay.
