What Makes ZitoBox Different From Other Sweepstakes Casinos?

Virtual Coins: You will play all of the games with ZitoBox using Virtual Coins. They can not be redeemed for real prizes, although they can be used to earn Loyalty Points by playing games. You can purchase Virtual Coins at any time.

Loyalty Points: You can earn Loyalty Points by simply playing games, making Virtual Coin purchases, or claiming promotions.

These points can be redeemed for real prizes but can not be used in gameplay. You can purchase more Virtual Coins using your ZitoPoints.

ZitoBox received an 8.4 comparison score because it offers such a unique model; however, several points were deducted since you cannot win cash prizes here.

ZitoBox Hands-on Review

ZitoBox offers a good dedicated mobile app that is available for iOS and Android devices and a full website that offers a lukewarm player experience.

Since the mobile app performs so well (but the full desktop site leaves something to be desired), ZitoBox received an 8.1 experience score.

Desktop Experience 

To put it bluntly, ZitoBox Casino doesn’t offer the world’s prettiest website. It looks dated and doesn’t feature many of the thrills I’ve come to expect from the top sweepstakes casinos.

At the top, you’ll see a scrollbar with the possible retailers to redeem your rewards, and below that, you’ll see 10 featured games and any promotions you’re eligible for. Since you’ll rarely receive any promotions outside of the initial ones, it leads to a clunky-looking homepage.

You can then sort games by categories, which is necessary since ZitoBox offers a pretty large library, and it’s impossible to determine what category games belong to based on their homepage thumbnails. A couple of times, when looking for slots, I ended up in arcade games.

The performance was solid, and after a couple of hours of play, the navigation was relatively smooth. Yet, I really struggled to get past the look of the site. The game previews aren’t overly appealing to me and don’t exactly entice me to play.

It was a fine experience, but overall, it could use some improvement. The performance was fine, and for the most part, I was able to play games, purchase Virtual Coins, and reach support with no issues; however, web design is a huge part of my experience, and ZitoBox fell short.

Not to say it isn’t worth a shot; maybe it will fit your eye better than it did mine.

Mobile Experience

After trying out the ZitoBox Casino app, I found it to be a fun and user-friendly platform with an impressive selection of games.

The app is available for both Android and iOS devices and provides a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience on the go. It received a 4.3-star rating in both the Apple Store and Google Play Store.

The vibrant graphics and engaging gameplay make for a thoroughly enjoyable experience that left me eagerly anticipating my next session. I actually enjoyed the mobile app version better than the desktop version of the site.

The app runs much smoother for me; it is easier to navigate, and I find it to be much more aesthetically pleasing than the desktop site. While the full website looks and feels dated, the app looks fresh.

One of the downsides of the app is that you’re not able to log in through your standard ZitoBox account. You’ll instead have to either link your existing account to Facebook or Apple or ensure you create your account with one of those two options.

You also won’t have access to see or change your account information in the app. Luckily, I created my account by linking my Facebook, so I had no problem logging into the app.

Yes, ZitoBox is a legit sweepstakes casino operating with a different model than most.

Rather than playing with ZitoPoints and winning them during gameplay, you simply earn them by playing with Virtual Coins.

Promotions for Existing Players

ZitoBox only offers one promotion for existing players – a daily login bonus.

Every 24 hours at ZitoBox, you can claim a daily login bonus of 250 Virtual Coins.

This isn’t a huge login bonus, and you’ll only be able to claim it once every 24 hours, but it is enough to give your account a small boost and play some games and earn more Loyalty Points.

Because there is only one promotion for existing players, ZitoBox received a 7.8 promotion score.

Banking Methods Breakdown

ZitoBox offers limited payment and redemption options.

For payments, you can choose up to four options; for redemptions, you’ll be able to choose a gift card from one of the available gift cards.

Because there are so few payment options and no cash prizes, and redemptions can take up to 15 business days, ZitoBox received an 8.7 cashier score.

Purchases

ZitoBox Casino does not offer a huge variety of payment methods. It accepts credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and Bitcoin.

When you’re ready to make a purchase, look in the banner at the top of the home screen, where you’ll see a “Coin Sale” button.

I experienced a few issues when trying to make a purchase at ZitoBox. I was unable to purchase using my debit card because the request couldn’t be processed, and with my credit card, I had to confirm my purchase with the company before it was processed.

Eventually, I was able to make a purchase, but it did require some hoop jumping, which isn’t a great sign.

Redemptions

When choosing to redeem prizes at ZitoBox Casino, you can select from a variety of gift cards. In the upper right corner of the screen on ZitoBox, you’ll see a “Redeem Rewards” button. Select this button to see all of the available options.

For every dollar of a gift card, you will need 100 Loyalty Points. So, if you wish to redeem Loyalt  Points for a $10 gift card, you must have at least 1,000 Loyalty Points.

The only downside is that you can't redeem Loyalty Points for cash prizes; the closest you can get is to Visa or Mastercard Reward Cards. Visa rewards are not available in New York.

To be eligible to exchange Loyalty Points, you must register a valid US credit card with ZitoBox. You don’t need to make a purchase, but the card is used for account verification purposes.

You can only claim two Rewards per day, and once you’ve redeemed 10,000 Loyalty Points, you may need to submit further documentation before any further redemptions can be made.

It could take up to 15 business days to receive your prize.

Unfortunately, not all games are available without first making a Virtual Coins purchase. Once you’ve made a purchase, you’ll unlock the rest of the games.

All games available here are exclusive titles, which can be a huge benefit if you love playing games you won’t find anywhere else.

I rated ZitoBox an 8.9 game score because it offers just under 300 exclusive slots, table games, video poker games, and arcade games.

Slots 

ZitoBox Casino has an impressive variety of slot games; however, it doesn’t include many games from top developers.

You’ll find a ton of 3-reel and 5-reel slots and even a couple of Megaways options. Most games offer unique bonus games and paylines, which keeps gameplay fresh.

There are also a ton of exciting themes that kept me engaged during play, and I enjoyed testing out a ton of different games.

One of my favorite things about video poker is the low minimum play limit.

Most games accept minimum plays of only 50 Virtual Coins, which is far lower than you’ll see in slots or any of the other games on the platform.

ZitoBox offers a good selection of table games – though you'll need to make a Virtual Coin purchase to play them.

A majority of the games are the standard versions; however, there are some variants, which can be a fun change of pace.

There are two solitaire games you can play at ZitoBox: one you can play for free and the other that requires a Virtual Coins purchase to unlock.

From what I can tell, both games are the same and align closely to a traditional game of Solitaire, where you’ll earn Virtual Coins for adding cards to the suited piles.

If you complete the entire board, you’ll win a jackpot!

Arcade Games

ZitoBox also offers a handful of arcade games, but the majority are unavailable until you make a Virtual Coin purchase.

These arcade games are also known as fishing games, although they are not multiplier fish games. Instead, you simply receive Virtual Coins for catching fish. It’s a fun and easy concept, but I didn’t have much luck.

You need to be especially careful in these, as it is easy to fire away aimlessly at the fish and lose a good portion of your coins in seconds without realizing how much you’re losing.

ZitoBox RTPs

One area I’d like to see ZitoBox improve in is transparency regarding its games, specifically its return-to-player percentages (RTPs).

RTP indicates the theoretical number of Virtual Coins that will be returned to players over time, so if a slot has a 96% RTP, you can expect to win 0.96 Virtual Coins for every 1 Virtual Coin played over time. It’s the best indicator of how likely you are to win.

ZItoBox does not list the RTPs of its games on the site, and as a majority of them are exclusive to ZitoBox, you’re unable to find these figures anywhere on the web.

In fact, ZitoBox doesn’t provide any information outside of the game name, paylines, and its bonus features.

ZitoBox Review Conclusion

ZitoBox offers a unique online gaming experience that is similar to the sweepstakes model; this could be appealing to some players but also a downside to others.

It offers a large library of exclusive games, including slots, table games, video poker, and arcade games. I didn’t love having to make a purchase to unlock over half of the games, especially since the games themselves aren’t anything special.

Overall, ZitoBox is a solid platform, and I especially enjoyed the mobile app – enough to say I think it is worth a shot for you to try out on your own.
