There is no Zula Casino app, but you can still play casino-style games on your browser’s mobile device — the same as you would on a laptop or desktop.
Because Zula Casino doesn’t offer an app, I got the feeling that a lot of effort was put into the mobile browser experience.
Normally, I don’t always love playing slots and other casino-style games on my phone. Part of the fun of sweepstakes casinos is finding yourself immersed in another world for some time. The smaller the screen, the less likely I am to get into the flow of the game.
Yet at Zula Casino, I felt that the mobile experience mirrored the desktop or laptop one nicely.
I was able to play on both my Chrome and Safari browsers (I hate it when an iGaming platform doesn’t let me use the browser I want!) and my passwords were saved in my browser password manager on all my devices.
The games all loaded correctly on my mobile browser, which doesn’t always happen on every platform. The soundtracks were just as clear on my iPhone speakers as my laptop speakers and the game controls were just as easy to use on both devices.
Since the homepage isn’t cluttered with a lot of information and options, I was able to find all the games I was looking for — and a few new-to-me games, too!
What Makes Zula Casino Different?

Wild West Gold Megaways - This Wild West-themed game by Pragmatic Play was new to me (I’m more familiar with the fan favorite, Dead or Alive).
I was happy to see a lot of the little details that I enjoy in DOA similarly in this game, including the visuals, such as lanterns swinging on the porch, the soundtrack (soothing wild west background music, horses clopping, and whipping spin sounds), and on-theme icons, such as cowboy hats, neckerchiefs, boots, and wanted signs.
Rhino Hold and Win - This Booming Games slot machine features Sahara-themed soothing animal sounds and animal icons, including flamingos, crocodiles, gorillas, and cheetahs. The spin sounds can only be described as safari noises (don’t ask, I’ve never been on safari, OK?).
Madame Destiny Megaways - For my final slot machine, I played one with a less common theme: fortune teller.
Spin the fortune teller’s crystal ball to start the game. Icons include a candle, oracle cards, crystal balls, and black cats. There’s a mysterious soundtrack and horse gallop spin sounds. Like Great Rhino Megaways, there’s also a double-chance-to-play feature on this one.
